Raspberry-Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

Ingredients

12 slices cinnamon bread, cubed
5 eggs, beaten
1-3/4 cups milk
1 cup packed brown sugar, divided
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups fresh raspberries

Directions

Place bread cubes in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, 3/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Sprinkle almonds over egg mixture.Combine butter and remaining brown sugar; drizzle over the top.Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with raspberries. Bake 10 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Yield: 6-8 servings.

Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and reserved juice.In a large bowl, combine the oranges, grapes, apples, bananas, coconut, walnuts, cherries and raisins.Divide among serving dishes; drizzle with mayonnaise mixture. Serve immediately. Yield: 6-8 servings.

Ingredients

3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup fat-free milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup chopped peeled tart apple
1/3 cup chopped fresh or frozen peaches
1/3 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Additional fat-free milk, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Combine eggs, milk and butter; add to the dry ingredients. Stir in apple, peaches and blueberries.Pour into an 8-in.-square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cut into squares. Serve with milk if desired. Yield: 9 servings.

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

1 package (12.7 ounces) frozen French toast sticks
1 medium banana, sliced
1/4 cup granola without raisins

Directions

For syrup, in a small saucepan, combine the cream, brown sugar, butter, cherries and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla.Prepare French toast sticks according to package directions. Serve with banana, granola and syrup. Yield: 4 servings.

Bacon Breakfast Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
6 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1 package (3 ounces) real bacon bits
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Unroll crust into a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan; flatten dough and build up edges slightly. Brush with 1 tablespoon oil. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 400° for 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned.Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk eggs and water. In a small skillet, heat remaining oil until hot. Add eggs; cook and stir over medium heat until completely set.Spoon eggs over crust. Sprinkle with bacon and cheeses. Bake 5-7 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 8 slices.
